Camp logo.
El Gran Tesoro.
El Gran Tesoro (the great treasure) was the theme of my university’s Spring’21 Freshmen Orientation camp. The storyline revolved around a masked-man named ‘The Guru’, who revealed that he was going to steal the nation’s biggest diamond. In order to stop him, the freshmen had to go through a series of training sessions throughout the camp to prepare for the fight against The Guru in the finale.
As the creative director for the camp, I designed the logo based off my interpretation of The Guru to emphasise the common goal each freshmen had - to capture him. I used a red and silver color palette to represent strength, clarity and focus when training for the mission (silver) and war and courage when catching The Guru (red). The entire logo was designed leather-style to radiate toughness, competence, and edginess.
For the font, I used Futura as its crisp lines and symmetry would give off a clean look on any online, printed or collateral surface.
Camp t-shirt designs.
I lead, supervised and finalised the design for the camp t-shirt for both the freshmen and the organising committee.
Camp tag design.
I designed the camp tags to look like a metal plate similar to military and police name tags.
This was issued to orientation group leaders and the organising committee for identity.
