IM NOT DIFFICULT, IM IN A DIFFICULT SITUATION

Conversations on Youth (COY) is a biennial symposium organised by the National Committee on Prevention, Rehabilitation and Recidivism that brings together school leaders, teachers in charge of student discipline, social and youth workers, law enforcement officers and participants from the organising ministries for a dialogue on supporting youth-at risk and youth offenders.

The theme of the symposium in was: “I’m not difficult; I’m in a difficult situation”, which hosted over 10,000 attendies.

  • I was engaged to guide members of the NCPR Youth Advisory Group (YAG) as the Director of Photography as they create a campaign video for the event.

I was also engaged to film and edit a teaser video to generate hype for the main video.

teaser video.

This was the teaser video I filmed and edited to generate hype for the event. It was edited to showcase the impact negative labels have on youth-at risks and made to be showcased at the grand opening of the symposium to over 5,000 stakeholders.

The main publicity campaign video featured four youth advisory group members who were once youth-at-risks and stirs conversation on negative labels. It was made to be showcased right after the grand opening and also posted by Parliament Secretary Eric Chua on his Facebook, which has garnered over 2k views to date.
